MAC’s Dare to Wear Collection & small Sephora Haul

Hey loves!! On Thursday I went and purchased some of M.A.C.’s new co
llection “Dare to Wear”. I purchased 3 eyeshadows that were new and that I felt were a hard shade of a color to find.

Here are swatches of the 3 eyeshadows. The top is a Frost e/s called “Going Bananas” which is a pretty frosty yellow. The middle is called “Louder, Please” and it is a Matte e/s that I feel is a really close shade to red, especially on my brown skin. The last color is also a Matte e/s called “Sassy Grass”. I love this green shade, the picture doesn’t really do it justice but is truly a grass green; healthy grass that is lol.I also purchased 4 of the 6 Dare to Wear Lipglasses. I’m really loving these new lipglasses. They are highly pigmented and sparkly. The spec of glitter are super fine, so you don’t feel them at all on your lips. All the colors are soooo pretty!!

This c
olor is calledWind Me Up”and is my neutral pick from this collection. This one is more bronzey compared to the other neutral lipglass. it compliments my skin tone.
This one is one I almost passed up. It’s a pretty pink lipglass called
“Dare to Dare” and when
applied, it gives of a hint of blue and green along with the pink/purple color. Extremely glad I purchased this one.My bright color from this collection.
It is called“Gimme That!” and in the bottle it is a very bright fushia color. When applied it is still bright but a little more subtle. …..
and this one is my fav
orite! Of course it’s a purple lipglass and it is called
“Ban This!”. It is a deep purple that is true to it’s color.

Now, I purchased these next couple of items form sephora.com because they are things that I’ve been wanting for a while now.

This Smashbox Eyelights Palette in Strobe is a small palette that holds and comes with eyeshadow for a perfect day or night look. I keep this one in my purse just in case. It has a beautiful highlight, a light blue color that’s perfect for the lid, and a bronzy brown that perfect for outter lid and/or crease.

I wanted to put my MUFE e/s in a palette so I can eventually purchase more, so I purchased the MUFE palette that hold 10 eyeshadows and/or blushes. This palette only cost $20 at sephora (just a dollar more than the actual eyeshadows!).
Let me know if you have any questions…. <3 msREY
